Jim The Owner

As the owner of AIS I would like to take a few minutes of your time and introduce my staff. I'll start
with myself. Born in 1954 growing up in the 60's I never got to be a hippie. My Dad believed in hard
work and more hard work! After all the hard work I volunteered the draft in the early 70's. Spent six
years in the U.S. Army, were I learned even more about hard work and discipline. After the Army I worked
for the State of Ohio as a Correctional Officer. Between the Military and the Prison system I learned a
lot about people. I learned how to communicate with a wide range of people. Since working on cars has
always been a passion of mine, I left the Prison system for a job manufacturing cars. This allowed me
several years of experience diagnosing production problems and resolving them through feedback. I decided
to utilize this knowledge in a business of my own. I invest in my business by taking the time to attend
seminars, the information learned, is invaluable to my clients.

Julie Officer Manager
Management Success - Automotive Management Training Certificates.
My daughter Julie excelled in High School meeting all the requirements and graduating one year early.
She worked in retail sales as an assistant manager for several years. Julie is the person you will talk to
when you call for service. She has no experience working on automobiles. The technicians in the shop are
responsible for diagnosing and making recommendations.
Joseph (Joe) Lead Technician
University of Northwestern Ohio Associates Degree Auto High Performance. Management Success - Automotive
Management Training Certificates. ASE Master Certified
Joe is my son and he spent his childhood working in the shop with his father. His last two years of high
school were spent at a Technical School in the automotive program. Joe was selected to represent the school
in the State troubleshooting contest and graduated, Outstanding Senior. Upon graduation he attended University
of Northwestern Ohio and received an associate of applied science in automotive high performance. While at
Northwestern Joe was selected as a troubleshooting finalist. Joe is ASE master certified in automotive.
David Master Technician
Ohio State University, ASE Certified, NAPA Institute of Automotive Technology, Columbus Technical Institute,
Engine Controls Learning Center
David has over twenty five years experience in general and advanced automotive repair, with specific experience
in drivability diagnostics and electrical / electronic repair. He works professionally and courteously with
others, interfacing directly with Clients. David will assure that you understand the exact nature of and need
for the repairs.
Michael Technician
Delaware JVS for machine trades.
Michael has several years experience in industrial mechanical maintenance. Mike is our welding and fabrication
associate. He handles all custom exhaust systems and brake systems. His attention to detail and quality
workmanship far exceed my expectations. He attended Delaware JVS for machine trades. After graduation he
returned to JVS for additional adult classes in the machine trade.
